Donor Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your generosity in supporting our Maternity Leave Fund. By making a donation, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Use of Funds: Donations will be used exclusively to provide financial support to self-employed mothers approved through our application process. Funds may also be used to cover minimal administrative costs required to sustain the program.

2. Donation Process: All donations are final and non-refundable. Please ensure that your information, including payment details, is accurate at the time of submission.

3. Tax Deductibility: The Maternity Leave Fund is not yet its own formal 501 c3. Your donation may still be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please retain your receipt for tax purposes.

4. Privacy and Data Security: Donor information will be kept confidential and used solely for processing your donation and providing updates about the fund, unless you opt out of communications.

5. Allocation of Specific Donations: If you choose to sponsor a specific applicant, your donation will be directed toward that individual, subject to availability and approval. In the event that your chosen applicant is no longer eligible, your donation will be redirected to the general fund to support other applicants.

6. Transparency: We are committed to transparency and will provide periodic updates on the impact of your contributions, including stories from recipients (where consent has been granted).
